About Us
Welcome to the Gruene Vista Family!
We are Stephanie and Shayne, married with three kids, consistently in search of that perfect balance between contentment and adventure. We love people well and are guided by the core beliefs of faith, family and fun. We believe we were given this unique opportunity to combine our expertise’s in a way that serves others. We believe that life has a bigger purpose. That we have a gift in our ability to make beautiful homes and we want to share that with amazing clients and our community.
Our Past…
We met at Texas Tech University (Guns Up!). Shayne majored in Range Wildlife & Fisheries Science and Stephanie in Merchandising. Stephanie’s career started in a marketing roll for DeWalt Power Tools which began her love of all things construction. Shayne, inspired by family members from his childhood, worked for large production builders and then settled into a Custom Home Building partnership. We have held many positions and titles in our 22 years of industry experience. Every experience, challenge and success led us to create Gruene Vista Construction.
Our Present…
We are laser-focused on creating an exceptional experience for our clients. Homebuilding is stressful. Moving is hard. We know – we’ve built 4 custom homes for ourselves and moved 12 times in 20 years of marriage. We understand the challenges well and work to make the entire process as simple as possible. We work with you every step of the way to create an inspiring and well-built space that will enhance your life. We are not here to be the biggest builder – we call ourselves a boutique builder because focusing on a few projects for amazing clients is where we thrive.
Our Future…
We have big goals for the future. At some point, there is a place in our business to give back to our community by helping the next generation learn the art of homebuilding. As parents of a child with Down Syndrome, we also see the need to create stable and inspiring work for our friends with different abilities. How and when this will happen – we don’t know – but we do know that all of our dreams will be realized by expanding our Gruene Vista family one happy client at a time.
